Those who have previously found it difficult to get a good night’s sleep are crediting a £3 buy from Amazon for changing their night time routine. Amazon shoppers who are now getting the ‘best sleep ever’ say it’s thanks a ‘miracle oil’ that helps calm any racing thoughts, in turn making it easier to doze off.

Freshskin Beauty’s Essential Lavender Oil is just £3.14 on Amazon. Lavender oil has been used for centuries as a natural method to relax both the mind and body, which is especially needed just before you tuck in for the night. In fact, research shows that using lavender oil for aromatherapy can actually improve sleep quality, especially in people who suffer insomnia, depression and anxiety.

Other scientific studies have found that lavender oil may also boost time spent in deep, slow-wave sleep, which plays an important role in growth, memory, and immune function. A research project from 2015 that studied university students with ‘self-reported sleep issues’ found that lavender helped improved the quality of their slumber.

In the reviews, one shopper said: “I use this on my pillow before I sleep. Helps to get to sleep straight away.” A second added: “Best sleep ever. I put a couple of drops on my pillow and I was fast asleep, straight away. Definitely had one of the best sleeps ever which is unusual for me as I’m always so stressed and unable to sleep.” A third wrote: “Lovely fragrance. Helps you sleep.”

A fourth penned: “Use it on my pillow to help me sleep. I it does the job, I seem to drift off quickly, and it helps to relax me.” “Liquid gold,” mentioned another. “This is working wonders for me. However, not everyone was as impressed, as one Amazon customer mentioned: “I rarely leave negative feedback, sadly this product is very weak.” A second put: “I’m not even gonna lie, it doesn’t smell like anything.”

But another person was very happy with the Freshskin Beauty’s Essential Lavender Oil, adding: “Great oil as per usual from Freshskin. Most of my oils come from Freshskin. The quality is always good. They truly are essential oils and not fragrance oil. I have some that I do not use regularly that still smell great years on and others that get used up very quickly.
