Actor Krishna Mukherjee recently accused the producer of Shubh Shagun, Kundan Singh, of harassment and not paying her dues. She talked about her experience on social media and got a lot of support from other TV actors. Kundan denied the accusations, calling them false. Despite the issue being unresolved, Krishna thanked her supporters in a video on Instagram. She also defended herself against those who doubted her claims of depression, saying she followed the right steps and didn’t want to go public with the matter.

In the video, Krishna Mukherjee said, “I am here to thank everyone. Your support has given me hope that I am not alone. Also, a few people have accused me of putting false allegations on them. All I would tell them is that only time will tell everything. Everyone will know who is speaking the truth. It wasn’t my first choice to put all this on social media. I waited a lot, more than a year. I followed all protocols, but when there was no response from their end or any help, I felt helpless. I suffered from anxiety and depression and had to do this for myself.”

Krishna also said that one bad person shouldn’t tarnish the industry’s image. She added, “Because of one wrong person, the entire industry cannot be blamed. I have had the privilege to work with amazing production houses and teams where I never got to face such issues. A lot of people commented on me being depressed asking why I was posting or why I looked happy. I was hurt because people don’t know what anxiety and depression are. It doesn’t mean a person suffering cannot live. I am grateful to have a family and friends that have supported me from day one.”

Krishna asked people not to judge her. She added, “I have faith in God, and hence I gathered the courage to tell you all this. I urge you not to point fingers at anyone. You don’t know what has been happening in my life. I cannot show everything on Instagram, so please respect someone who is in trouble.”

Krishna has alleged that the producer of her Dangal TV show locked her in a makeup room when she refused to shoot. She also said she hasn’t been paid for five months and accused the production company of harassing her and threatening her. Krishna’s friend Aly Goni confirmed her claims, saying she’s owed over Rs 35 lakh.
