MESA, AZ (AZFamily)—The Mesa Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a 15-year-old boy who ran away and may be in danger.

Police said Nash Russo was last seen at Mesa High School on Thursday around 3:45 p.m.

The boy took off after getting into trouble in school and told another student he was thinking of running away, police said.

His family is concerned because he has ADHD and it’s uncharacteristic for him to run away.

Police said he could be in Mesa or somewhere else in the East Valley.

Nash is described as a white boy with black hair, brown eyes, 5′4″, 110 pounds and he was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, blue jeans and black and white Nike shoes.

He was carrying a purple backpack and has a scar above his life eye.

Anyone with information is asked to call Mesa police at 480-644-2211.

Police said it's not like him to run away.
